I had my Entertainment Book in the car, but just haven't used it for a while.  On Saturday, we decided to use coupon for both lunch and dinner to save some money.

Entertainment Book一直放在車子裡好一陣子都沒有用，星期六的約會日我們決定要進行省錢大作戰，午餐晚餐都要用折價卷。



We passed by this cafe many times and I always comment on how cute it looks from the outside.  I picked Solar de Cahuenga as our lunch spot when I saw they have a buy 1 entree get 1 free coupon in Entertainment Book.

經過這家店好幾次，每次我都會說從外面看起來很可愛，所以一看到Entertainment Book裡面有這家餐廳買一送一的折價卷，就決定吃這家吧！





The restaurant is self-served.  You place your order at the counter and get a number stand.  Then a server will bring the food to your table.  The inside of the restaurant is spacious with an artsy feel to it.  It's bright, clean and comfortable.

餐廳是半自助式的，先在櫃檯點餐和付錢，然後拿著號碼牌自己找位子，之後會有服務生把餐點送到桌上，店裡很寬敞，有種藝術人文氣息，整間店就是很明亮、乾淨和舒服的感覺。



They serve crepes, salad, sandwich, panini, as well as pastry and desert.  And of course, coffee and tea.  I also noticed that they have wireless service here.  Lots of customers were on their computer doing some work while sipping coffee.

這家店賣的東西有可麗餅、沙拉、三明治、麵包和甜點，當然少不了咖啡和茶，店裡還有提供無線上網，有好多客人都帶著手提電腦一面上網一面喝咖啡。



Inside of the cafe was full, so we grabbed a seat at the patio area.  The patio was also packed when we sat down.  But when I snapped the picture as we were leaving, it was empty.  Maybe we came at the end of lunch peak hour?

點完餐後，店裡面全滿，好不容易在也是客滿的戶外用餐區找到一張桌子，但是等到我們吃完要走的時候，卻已經全空啦！我們來的時間應該是午餐尖峰快結束的時候吧？


Coffee ($2.15)

2 cups of coffee to wake us up first.  Their house blend coffee was good.  Not too strong, but good flavor.

先來兩杯咖啡清醒一下，咖啡不錯喝，不是很濃但是很香。


Fajitas Crepe ($9.50)

We both felt like having crepe.  Dr. Park got Fajitas crepe with tomato soup.  The crepe had sauteed chicken with sweet onions and red bell peppers topped with avocado and sour cream.  Tomato soup tasted fresh and tangy.  Really good soup!

我們兩個這天都想吃可麗餅，公園先生點了墨西哥風的法士達可麗餅配上番茄濃湯，可麗餅中有雞肉、洋蔥和紅椒，配上酪梨和酸奶醬，番茄濃湯喝起來超新鮮，有點酸酸的味道，很好喝的湯。



The chicken was a bit too dry.  But I like the crepe.  And add one more point for avocado.  I just love creamy avocado.

雞肉有點乾硬，但是可麗餅的皮蠻好吃的，酪梨也有加分，超愛酪梨的。


Adrian's Favorite Crepe ($9.25)

I ordered Adrian's Favorite Crepe with a side of grilled potatoes.  Adrian's Favorite is Alaskan smokeed salmon, capers and sour cream with a touch of lemon.  The grilled potato lacked flavor.  But I fixed that with some katchup and a dash of hot sauce.

我點的是燻鮭魚可麗餅配上馬鈴薯，可麗餅裡面有燻鮭魚、酸豆和酸奶醬配上一點檸檬汁，炒馬鈴薯完全沒什麼味道，不過我自己加了番茄醬和辣椒醬之後也蠻好吃的。



Tons of smoked salmon inside the crepe.  Lots of sour cream, too.  Maybe a bit too much?  The salmon was good, but I don't know... this crepe was just a little too... boring for some reason.  But again, the crepe was fluffy and light so I like it.

可麗餅裡面給的燻鮭魚份量很多，酸奶醬也超多，多到好像過多？燻鮭魚是很好吃，但是這個可麗餅吃起來有點.... 無聊的感覺，就除了燻鮭魚什麼都沒有，不過可麗餅皮還是很好吃啦！

With our buy 1 get 1 free coupon, the meal only cost about $14.  The food was just alright, but we enjoy the vibe here.  With the coupon, it was a pretty good deal.  We'll come back again, maybe not for the food, but for a cup of coffee and a relaxed afternoon. 

用了買一送一的折價卷，這頓午餐大約是$14，這家店的東西其實只是還好而已，不過就是用餐氣氛很不錯，有了折價卷，這樣的價錢挺划算的，我還是想再回來這家店，不過應該不是用餐，而是喝杯咖啡度過一個輕鬆舒適的下午。

One more note, since it's already half way through the year, Entertainment Book is on sale right now for only $9.99.  If you use just one coupon in the book, you already make your money back.  So I highly recommend getting the book.
