在El Monte這個城市，沒有太多中國餐廳，離我們家最近的就是這家好彩燒臘小廚，幾年前剛搬來El Monte的時候，我們常常到這家餐廳買外賣，喜歡買外賣是因為餐廳裡面看起來實在不怎麼乾淨，所以我們不喜歡坐在那裏吃，常去買除了近以外，東西便宜口味也不錯更是重點，後來好像有點吃膩了，就比較少去買了。
這天媽媽晚上從加拿大回來，我懶得煮東西，本來想等媽媽回來去外面吃，但是媽媽要到8點才到家，弟弟餓了，所以就提議乾脆直接去買外賣回家吃好了，那最方便的就是好彩，打電話先去點了菜再去拿，結果發現他們又漲價了，這幾年來已經漲了好幾次囉！從一開始的US$4.25特價晚餐，現在已經漲到US$6.25囉！
時菜雞球 Chicken with Seasonal Greens (US$6.25)
時菜雞球，就是雞肉跟芥藍外加幾棵洋菇，味道也是很標準一般中國餐廳那樣，雞肉很嫩，不錯吃。
銀芽炒肉絲 Shredded Pork with Bean Sprout (US$6.25)
這道弟弟點的原本是雪菜炒肉絲，結果買回家打開一看，怎麼是銀芽炒肉絲？是聽錯喔？不過這銀芽炒肉絲也是不錯吃啦！肉絲都很嫩，炒的味道也很不錯，很下飯的一道菜。
干煎魚 Fried Fish (US$6.25)
干煎魚炸的酥脆，很香，不過我覺得魚肉不多耶！炸皮倒是很好吃。
四季豆炒牛肉 String Beans with Beef (US$6.95)
四季豆炒牛肉，也是很一般大眾化的口味，也是不錯吃啦！
好彩的口味還不錯，不過也沒有很特別，以前我們喜歡就是很便宜，現在變的也不太便宜，這家離家近的餐廳是很方便，但是我會寧願去別家更好吃的中國餐館耶！

You're probably already familiar with Manja (fried rice dishes) and the Saturday morning food fair at Duarte Inn. My friend's wife recommends sate bibi from Heidy at the food fair.
ReplyDeleteThere are several Indonesian and Chinese-Indonesian places in West Covina. The Hong Kong Plaza there has a food court, there's a place caled Satay Fong there. Their chicken satay is excellent but don't get the pork. The salad and rice dishes are good too.
Another restaurant there called Janty's Noodle is good for chicken and mushroom noodle. I'm not an expert at Indonesian food so if you have questions, I'll send them to my friend's wife from Jakarta. Her (Viet) husband loves the fried wontons at Janty's.
