I have been going to Jim's Burgers since high school. I went to Arcadia High, and Jim's is just right down the street from school. I always made my mom taking me there after she picked me up from school to get fried zucchini. I went to my aunt's house in Arcadia one day, and thought of Jim's fried zucchini. I had to stop to get a bag.
Jim's is at the corner of Duarte and 6th. It's a small hamburger place and they are always busy.
Their price is very reasonable. Most burgers and sandwiches are around $3-ish.
Homemade Fried Zucchini ($2.85)
Seriously! This is the BEST fried zucchini ever! I've had fried zucchini from a lot of places, and nowhere can compare to Jim's. I really don't know what it is. The crunchy breading, the soft zucchini, and the ranch dressing. Everything was just perfect. 20 years, and the fried zucchini still tastes just as good as my first bite 20 years ago.
Cheeseburger ($3.15)
I also got a cheeseburger for Dr. P. Somehow the picture didn't turn out good. But trust me, this was one good cheeseburger. Their sauce was delicious!
I love Jim's! If you guys are around the area and want a snack, get the fried zucchini. You will be hooked just like me!

I past this place so many times but never tried it. Now I totally want those Fried Zucchini.

I really like Jim's Burgers. I used to live in that neighborhood (only few blocks away). I miss their hamburgers and fries!!

Haha, I've always been to this shopping mall since I was little and yet I have still never visited Jims :P. The Shanghai restaurant in the back of the shopping center near Super A Foods is also pretty good. BTW you should visit Arcadia High again if you haven't yet, it has changed a lot and the two new buildings are finally partially open! :) There is still more to come...

That place used to be a Korean restaurant before, and it wasn't that good.
I'll tell my parents about the restaurant. My dad love Shanghainese food.
I haven't been back to Arcadia high since I graduated in 1994. haha....
One of those day maybe I'll pay my high school a visit.
