Kirkland Spiral Sliced Hams

I was shopping at Costco.  Passed by one of those food sampling station, and tried a piece of Costco's Kirkland Spiral Sliced Hams.  They served the sample cold, and it was really good.  I picked the smallest ham I could find for about $18.

The ham was already fully cooked and ready to eat.  But I wanted to serve it hot.  I heated it up in the oven, also added the glaze.  The ham was so moist and juicy.  It was soooooo good!  Turned out the smallest ham was still too big for two of us to finish in a week.  I ended up throwing half of it away.  :-(

My mother in law bought HoneyBaked Ham for Christmas this year.  Both Dr. P and I thought the Costco ham tasted better, and it only cost 1/3 of  the HoneyBaked Ham.  So next time if you want to serve ham for a family dinner, you should try Costco's.  It's good and cheap!

  1. I love Honeybaked Hams but they cost so much---thats why I want to try one of these hams from Costco Q: How do you put on the glaze?

The glaze came in a pack in powder form.
It has to be mixed and cooked on the stove with some water until it thickens.
Then pour over the almost-done baked ham and pop it back to the oven for 15 minutes or so.
It's really simple and soooo tasty (and cheap too!).
