This "trunk" desk is so unique. I love the design. You can adjust the opened angle, or even close the trunk if you want.
It's actually cheaper than I thought. I thought something like this probably cost $5,000. You can also order it online.
The Buckle Chair goes perfectly with the trunk.
I just had one thought after seeing the desk and chair: I wish I am rich!

You can just take it with you and check it in as baggage when you fly! Maybe they will charge an overweight fee... ;-)

Ooooooh that chair is stunning. The whole ensemble has such imagination (like J Peterman)! If I didn't need a lot of desk space to spread all my work stuff for work, I would definitely save my money and buy this set.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that furniture last a whole life time, and then some, like heirlooms. If these things last for 100+ yrs plus, $3,500 is hardly expensive... My dream http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com would be clutter free, but contains a few really well made, shockingly good, expensive pieces of furniture. A huge, beautiful, antique dining table would be one!
