Luigi's Restaurant is another Entertainment Book find.  The Italian restaurant is located on Main Street right near Huntington Beach pier.  Lots of shops and restaurants on this street.  It's fun to walk around before/after dinner to do some people watching and window shopping.

Luigi's has an outdoor patio seating area right on the sidewalk.  But it was a really cold night so we requested to sit inside.

Mojito ($9.95)

Dr. P ordered a Mojoti... for me.  Yeah right!  Remember what I said about him and his girly drinks?  He's using me again... pretending to order some girly drink for me when I told him I don't want it.  But he insisted to order it "for me" so he can drink it.  Just admit it.  You like girly drinks, Dr. P!

Bread

The thin garlic bread with pesto olive oil was soooooo good.  I ate almost the entire basket of the bread.

Pollo Alabama ($16.95)
House signature dish. Breast of chicken with roasted baby shallots in Brandy cream sauce. Served with pasta or vegetables.

Our waiter recommended Pollo Alabama.  I love the Brandy cream sauce.  It was slightly sweet, and super yummy when mixed with pasta.  The chicken was very tender.  It was a very rich dish though.  The portion didn't seem to big, but we still couldn't finish it.

Cioppino della Casa ($25.95)
A fiesta of seafood: shrimp, mussels, clams, salmon, & calamari in spicy marinara sauce over linguine pasta

Dr. P ordered Cioppino della Casa.  Lots and lots and lots of seafood in a giant plate.  All the seafood tasted fresh.  The spicy marinara sauce was delicious.

Spumoni ($7.95)

For dessert, we got Spumoni ice cream.  The tri-color (flavors) ice cream was covered with chocolate.  Inside the chocolate shell, there were vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream.  It was good, but I thought it was kidna expensive for what it was.

Actually, everything was kinda of expensive.  Even with Entertainment Book discount, I still think it was expensive.  We like the food a lot.  Service was great, too.  But we probably won't come back here unless we have a coupon or something.  Too expensive!  Well, I guess everything near beach is sort pricey.  Maybe we were paying for the location more than the food.
