I am loving the Korean market, H-Mart, near our new place in Irvine.  The supermarket is big, clean, has fresh vegetables and fruits, great meat selection, and tons of live and fresh seafood.  Did I mention the price is unbeatable?  I can get 10 bunches of green onion for $0.99 there!  They also has a lot of prepared dishes.  So when I don't feel like cooking, I can get something there as well.



This was our first meal at http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com.  We just moved in, and haven't gotten all the cooking gadgets yet.  So we just brought a bunch of prepared dishes from H-Mart.



Kimchi

Gotta have some kimchi at http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com.  I can eat white rice just with kimchi.  I always have some kimchi in my fridge.

Assortment of Banchan

Got a box of banchan vegetables.  There were spinach, bean sprout, carrot, cucumber, burdock, and radish.  The vegetable also came with some hot sauce.  We ate the veggie the first night banchan style.  The next day I mixed the veggie, leftover meat, and the hot sauce with some white rice and made it into bibimbop.


Stir Fried Vermicelli

I really like Korean Stir Fried Vermicelli.  They are good with rice, or I just eat it by itself as a meal sometimes.


Pork Ribs

We really like the pork ribs.  The ribs were a little spicy and a little sweet.  Very tender.  Definitely will get this again next time.


Spicy Pork

We also bought marinated spicy pork.  I just stir fried them in a pan.  A big box for $3.50.  I think we ate it for 3 days.

I like our new apartment a lot.  Not only the apartment itself and the complex is nice, our location is so close to everything.  I am loving Orange County already!
