We just moved to Irvine last month and didn't really know the area at all.  I found the 99 Ranch Market in Irvine.  After doing a little grocery shopping, we saw there is a Sam Woo next door.  That was where we had dinner on our first night in Irvine.



They had a special of the month menu on the table.  The items seemed to be $1 or $2 less than the regular menu.



貴妃雞 Chicken with Ginger and Scallion Sauce ($8.95)

Dr. P requested Chicken with Ginger and Scallion Sauce.  The chicken was soft and tender, and he loves the ginger and scallion sauce.


沙爹牛腩 Beef Brisket with Satay Sauce ($7.95)

Beef brisket with Satay Sauce was a great dish to eat with rice.  The beef was tender, and I liked the tendon even more.


培根高麗菜 Cabbage with Bacon ($6.95)

Cabbage and bacon are such a good combination.  We really like this dish.  I'll try to make this at http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com next time.



I like Sam Woo.  Price was reasonable for the amount of food we got.  We had 3 more meals with the leftover.  The food taste pretty good in every Sam Woo I've been to.  Glad to know there's one near our new place to serve us our Chinese food craving.
