I have been craving for beef noodle soup.  When I went http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com to visit my parents, I took them to my favorite beef noodle soup place, Beef Noodle King.

肥腸油豆腐 Bean Curd Puff with Pork Intestines ($3.25)

We started the meal with the dish I always order, Bean Curd Puff with Pork Intestines.  I really like it.  But my dad thought a small plate like this for $3.25 is too expensive.

清燉牛筋麵 Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup (Clear Broth) ($5.75)

Three of us ordered  2 bowls of noodle to share.  My mom ordered Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup with Clear Broth.  I've never tried this one before.  I took a sip of the clear broth, and at first I thought there was no taste.  Maybe I was so used to the stronger regular stewed broth.  But as I continued eating the noodle soup, I also started tasting the broth more.  The flavor was light, but good.  Mom likes it a lot.

紅燒牛筋麵 Stewed Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup ($5.75)

Dad ordered Stewed Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup.  This was great as usual.  But dad said he likes the beef noodle soup at Liang's Kitchen better.

Beef Noodle King is one of the places I really miss in LA.  Does anybody know a good beef noodle soup place in Orange County?

  1. I always like the beef noodle soup (half meat and half tendon; thin noodles) at A&J Restaurant on Jeffrey in Irvine. You should give it a try if haven't yet.

Ok I'll put that place on my to-try list. Thank you, Jessica.
