Dr. P and I went to IKEA in Costa Mesa a few days before our move-in day to do some furniture shopping. But of course we gotta eat something first.
I always like eating at IKEA. The dining area is always bright and spacious.
Swedish Meatballs ($4.99)
I got what I always order, Swedish Meatballs. 15 meatballs, still wasn't enough. Just love them meatballs. The mashed potatoes was delicious as well.
Alfredo Chicken Pasta Combo ($5.49)
Dr. P got the Alfredo Chicken Pasta Combo. The pasta was pretty rich and filling. It was alright. We both thought the meatballs was better. For the combo, we got a piece of garlic bread....
Salad
And a small salad from the salad bar.
Swedish Apple Cake ($2.29)
We also got a piece of Swedish Apple Cake for dessert. I thought it came with ice cream, but it wasn't. It was just cream, and it tasted kinda like custard cream. The apple cake was a bit dry, so it was best eaten with the cream.
After our meal, it was shopping time.
Look how long our bill was! Yes, we bought a lot of stuffs! But one thing we forgot to get.... frozen IKEA meatballs! Gotta make a trip back to IKEA again!

ReplyDeleteI am recently moving too...and IKEA is like my backyard now...went way too many times....heee
Really? I have no idea about the $30 free eat promotion.
I'll find out if Costa Mesa store has the same offer.
If they do, since we have a few more thing sto buy, it'll be feast time in IKEA! haha....
