Dr. P was craving for some Chinese food, so we went back to San Woo again.

Sam Woo has two different sides.  One side was for take out and a busy dining area.  The other side looks fancy and less crowded.  I think most Asians just eat at the busy side.  The fancy side seems to be more "Americanized".  Do they serve different menu?  Or different price?

泰式奶茶 Thai Iced Tea ($1.50)

Dr. P ordered a Thai Iced Tea.  Drinks here are pretty cheap.  Cheaper than those boba shops.

蜜汁雞翼 Honey BBQ Chicken Wings ($5.95)

Honey BBQ Chicken Wings, Chinese style, yum!  Those wings were addicting.  I also love the Cantonese style salt & pepper wings.  I think I'll get that next time.

牛肉扒通菜 Sauteed Beef over Hollow Vegetable ($7.95)

Sauteed Beef over Hollow Vegetable, one dish, got both protein and vegetable.  Beef was tender, and the vegetable was fresh.

西芹海中寶 Seafood with Celery in Hot Pot ($9.95)

Seafood with Celery in Hot Pot had a lot of seafood in it.  Fish, squid, scallop, and imitation crab (ok this is not really seafood).  The flavor was good.

Food at Sam Woo is decent.  We always get lots of leftover to take http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com.  We also tried their 3 item combo and it was pretty good.  We'll be back again soon.

  1. Both sides have different menus. Personally I like the "BBQ Express" side more. They have good wonton noodle soup and I like their "beef with egg on rice" (or a better translation should be "*mixed/scrambled* egg w/beef on rice").

I've only been to the "express' side. Seemed like most people go to this side.
I'll try the wonton soup and beef rice dish next time.
