Dr. P went to Whole Foods Market one day for lunch while I was in school. He texted me while eating, raving about how good their Hunan Spicy Noodle is. I gotta try it for myself.
Spicy Hunan Chicken Noodle ($6.60)
We went a little bit late. They only offered takeout order at that time. Fine. We'll just take it for to-go. Spicy Hunan Chicken Noodle was made with grilled chicken, bok choy, bean sprout, cilantro, and jalapeno. The soup base was tasty. Dr. P said the portion seemed bigger when he ate over there though.
The noodle they used is rice vermicelli. Grilled chicken was very flavorful. Vegetable tasted fresh. This was indeed one bowl of really good noodle. It was also light and healthy.
Spicy Yellowtail Avocado Roll ($7.50)
Dr. P also picked up a box of Spicy Yellowtail Avocado Roll. The roll was so fresh that it didn't taste like supermarket sushi at all. Big portion of fresh and soft yellowtail with a slightly spicy sauce drizzle on top. Yum!
There are so many different choices for prepared food at Whole Foods! Dr. P even suggested to have a supermarket date night at Whole Foods: dinner and grocery shopping in one! haha.... I'm down!

I like Wholefoods a lot. And I like how they prepare their hot food :)
ReplyDeleteI walked by and smelt the Indian food. Ahhhhh.... I want it so bad!
But it was expensive... I used to work in LA near Whole Foods.
When I bought their hot food in a box, it was always around $10~$15 for not so much food.... >_<
go on Wednesday when prepared food that are charged by the lb. is $5.99/lb instead of the normal $7.99/lb~~(not sure if they still have the promotion though)~~
ReplyDeleteReally? I didn't know about this promotion.
Thank you so much for letting me know. I'm going to check it out on Wednesday!
