We hung out at Fullerton Arboretum last Sunday afternoon.

The arboretum is part of Cal State Fullerton.  Admission is free.  Even parking is free.  It's 26 acre of fun with plants!

Dr. P's model shot at the entrance waterfall.  Handsome.... haha...

We walked by the pond, and Dr. P spotted a mama duck with 2 little duckies.  Can you see the duckies in the picture?

The two little duckies jumped in the pond.  Mama duck got up and got into the water as well.  Then we saw 4 more little duckies appeared under mama duck.

The little duckies are sooooo adorable.  They weren't afraid of people at all.

Seeing those ducks made our day already!

There's a heritage house that was built in 1894.  It's opened for free tour at 2pm, but we missed it.

Pretty flower on a tree with very little leaves.

Giant cactus.

Uh...... this is an..... erectile dysfunction tree.  haha.....

This is my favorite tree.  Don't know why but I thought it is just so beautiful.

No leaf, just red flowers.  Beautiful!

I called this one the shaggy dog tree.

Dr. P called this one the octopus tree.

We found an egret hiding behind some leaves.  She's so elegant and pretty.

Cute little blue flowers.  I think those are called "forget me not", right?

Duckie duckie everywhere....

Behind the pink flowers is the museum.  It was closed when we were there though.

Fullerton Arboretum is really pretty.  It's a great place to take the whole family on a weekend afternoon.  It's a good place for date as well.  And everything is FREE!  We like this arboretum.

  1. I agree. That red tree is really beautiful.

It's even prettier when you see it in person.
