[Cook] Trader Joe's Bool Kogi & Satay Peanut Stir Fry Vegetables

This another "semi-homemade" easy meal for lazy cook.

Trader Joe's Bool Kogi & Satay Peanut Stir Fry Vegetables

I was doing grocery shopping at Trader Joe's, and tried a sample of their Bool Kogi with the satay peanut veggies at the tasting station. I thought both the meat and vegetable tasted pretty good. So I bought them for dinner that night.

Bool Kogi was about $7. Asian Stir Fry vegetables was about $4. And the Satay Peanut Sauce was about $3. This was enough food to serve 4 people.

Bool Kogi, the Korean brand sesame marinated boneless beef ribs as it was called on the package, tasted like a more Americanized version of the Korean bulgogi. Dr. P said he actually likes this version more than the one from the Korean supermarket. I simply cooked it on a grilled pan. It was very tasty.

The vegetable was just stir fried with the satay peanut sauce. They also added a can of coconut milk at Trader Joe's, but I didn't think it was necessary. But if you prefer a sweeter taste, and with more sauce, do add the coconut milk.  At the tasting station, they made it that way, then tossed some spaghetti with the veggies and sauce.

This was a really easy and pretty cheap dinner. I can see why people like Trader Joe's so much. Lots of goodies for lazy cooks there. haha....
