I received a buy one entree get one free coupon from Pei Wei's email. Signing up for restaurants' email list is a great way to save money because they often send customers exclusive coupons. We've always like Pei Wei. I like how the food is prepared and cooked fresh after you order.

Don't forget to ask for a free Pei Wei's reward card when you place your order. You can get 1 free entree after purchasing 10. We placed our order at the counter, then found a booth to sit down. A few minutes later, a waiter brought us our food.

Hot & Sour Soup ($2.25)

Dr. P ordered a hot and sour soup. It was a bit salty. And I thought it was expensive for a tiny cup of soup. I don't think we would order this again.

Japanese Chile Ramen ($7.25)
Soy mirin chile sauce, scallions, garlic, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, lime, cilantro, Fresno chile peppers, egg noodles

Dr. P ordered Japanese Chile Ramen with beef. At first, Dr. P thought the noodle tasted sweet and didn't like it that much. I also tried it, but didn't think it was that sweet. I think the sweetness came from mirin. But after a couple more bites, Dr. P started liking it more. I thought the noodle was delicious. The beef was cooked perfectly and very soft.

Dan Dan Noodles  ($7.25 FREE)
Chile seared soy sauce, minced chicken, scallions, garlic, bean sprouts, cucumbers, egg noodles

I ordered Dan Dan Noodles. This wasn't exactly the Chinese Dan Dan Noodle. It was actually more like a Chinese Ja Jiang Noodle. The minced chicken sauce had just a hint of spiciness. I love the crunchy cucumber and bean sprout. Although this wasn't an authentic dish, but I didn't expect authenticity when I came to Pei Wei. I thought the noodle was very well done and enjoyed it a lot.

Have you noticed we're always dining out with coupons now? haha.... Seriously, we saved so much money this way, and still get to enjoy going out to eat. Do you use coupons when you go out to eat?
