I get vegetable craving once in a while.  When I do, I always head to Souplantation.  We've been to Laguna Niguel's Souplantation three times now.  The food and service is always good there.  It was never really crowded.  We like this mellow Souplantation better than the crazy one in Irvine, where we always feel like in a war zone fighting to get soup and bread.

Lunch ($7.59/person)

We always go to Souplantation with coupon.  The coupon price for lunch is $7.59 per person.  I think we saved about $1.50/person with the coupon.  When I create my own salad, I go for food with different colors. But I don't get too much, because I gotta save room for other yummy food.

They have really really good Ceasar Salad.  It was a little bit spicy.  I think they use anchovy in it.  So good!  My other favorite salad is the broccoli one.  Every time I eat that salad, I just start smiling.  No idea why broccoli can make me so happy.  haha...

They had a special salad yesterday.  It was roasted vegetable with feta cheese and olive salad.  This was delicious!  We saw this guy kept on going back to the salad bar to get this salad.

My favorite soup, Clam Chowder!

I always get a bowl of chicken soup, too.  I saw a lot of people trying to fill the bowl with chicken meat from the soup.  But for me, I actually don't like the meat.  I just like the clear soup with some green onion.

Blueberry muffin, corn bread, banana muffin top, and cheesy bread.  All the bakery goods were yummy at Souplantation.  But I never like their pasta though.

Gotta have a baked potato with cheese, sour cream, green onion and bacon bits.

Warm apple cobbler and ice cream to finish the meal.  Yum!

We really like Souplantation.  If we go to any sandwich place, just a soup + 1/2 sandwich combo would cost the same or even more.  Souplantation has really good value.  But most importantly, they have really yummy food.  We like!

  3. This may be a big deal if you're Asian, but if you get on their email list, the coupons SP sends you are 40 to 50 cents less than the newspaper ones, so lunch would've been like $6.99. Or you can find the online coupons on sites like Slickdeals and print them.

I always get those coupons in my email,
and thought the price is the same as the newspaper coupon?
Man, I have to double check next time.
    Thanks, got-rice!
