So much rain! When is the rain going to stop? It was raining on the second day of 2011. We had plan to go out for lunch. But it was raining so we didn't want to go far. I had a Groupon for Mobtown Pizza Cafe right near our http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com. Pizza for lunch sounded good to me!
It's a pizza cafe with mob theme. All of their menu items have some kind of mobster name in it. They serve New York style thin crust pizza. We also saw thick pieces of stuff pizza on the counter. After we placed the order at the counter, the guy popped the food we ordered into the oven to heat them up.
I looked at the sign for a long time, and just didn't get what does "fuh-getta-bowdit" means. I had to ask Dr. P to translate it for me. Then I felt like such a dork. Guess I don't speak very good mobster language.
Gardenson Salad
They serve lunch special daily between 11am to 3pm. It comes with salad and drink. Their Gardenson Salad was very fresh. We like the mozzarella cheese (lots of it) in the salad.
Don Capone's Margherita Pizza
Fresh Basil, Tomato, Garlic and Mozzarella
Dr. P ordered the 1 slice specialty pizza lunch special for $5.99. Don Capone's Margherita Pizza was really really good. Love the crispy thin crust and the garlic on the pizza.
Sonny Hawaii Pizza ($3.49)
Canadian Bacon, Pineapple & Extra Cheese
One slice of pizza wasn't enough for Dr. P. So he got an extra slice of Sonny Hawaii Pizza. Hawaiian pizza is always good. This place gives you a lot of pineapple, which I like very much.
Pizza Roll
Bell Peppers & Sasauge
I ordered Pizza Roll combo for $6.99. The guy at the counter recommended bell pepper and sausage pizza roll. One pizza roll was big enough to feed two people. The crust was very good. It was a cross between pizza crust and bread. Lots and lots of gooey melted mozzarella cheese. I like the bell peppers, but didn't care too much for the sausage. Just cheese and bell peppers was enough to make me happy. This was very good. We like it a lot.
The food was pretty good. Lunch Special was definitely a good value.

Alondra Hot Wings also has mobster pizza! :D There's a restaurant.com coupon for it so its cheaper! Don't worry, I don't really understand the fuh-getta-bowdit” language either.

Alondra Hot wings is pretty good! I love their pizza and french fries! And I have a friend who always eats their hotwings! GO TRY IT! :]

You know in Micky Blue Eyes, Hugh Grant is marrying a mob's daughter. He has to keep saying fuh-getta-bowdit, so he could talk like a mob, along with the hand gesture under the chin.
