[Cooking] Spicy & Tangy Curry Chicken

I always thought Indian food is hard to cook.  It needs so many different spices.  But I managed to cook a super easy and delicious Indian meal last night... thanks to my sister.  ;-)

Spicy & Tangy Curry Chicken

First, I cut 4 pieces of chicken breast into bite size pieces.  Chicken breast were from Omaha Steak package that my sister got me for Christmas.  Sauteed the chicken in pan with some olive oil.  While the chicken was cooking, I boiled some water to cook some taro that my sister gave me.  She got the taros from Alhambra farmers market.  It didn't have the strong taro taste, so I just used it like potato.  Then I added the diced cooked taro, along with a bag of veggie mix (broccoli, cauliflower, and carrot) into the pan.  Cooked for a few minutes.  Then add.....

Tada!  This was the sauce that made cooking Indian food easy as breeze.  Spicy Nothings Spicy & Tangy Curry Simmer Sauce, which also came from my sister.  What a nice sister!  She bought this from Wholefoods I think.  The sauce was really really really good.  Probably the best jar Indian curry sauce I've ever had.

I served the curry over brown rice.  It was a healthy and yummy Indian meal that I really enjoyed.  Thanks, Sister! :-)

And curry is good for you, too.
I'm gonna go to Henry's to buy some more and try new flavors.
