We went home to have lunch with my parents. Dr. P requested to go to Happy Noodle. This is a small hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant with cheap and amazingly good food.
小菜三拼 3 Items Combo Appetizer
3 Items Combo Appetizers comes with sauteed greens, peanuts, and salted duck. But my dad asked to have the seaweed instead of duck. I liked all 3 appetizers very much.
蒜泥白肉 Pork with Garlic Sauce ($4.95)
My favorite dish from Happy Noodle. I request to get this dish every single time. The pork was thin and so soft. Their sauce was super good. I've had this dish in too many restaurants where they put way too much sugar in the sauce. Happy Noodle does it just the right way.
夫妻肺片 Spicy Beef and Tendon
Spicy Beef and Tendon wasn't too spicy, but pretty good.
擔擔麵 Dan Dan Noodle ($5.95)
Another favorite dish. Dan Dan Noodle looked very simple and not too special, but it was full of flavors. The sauce was actually really spicy even though it didn't look so.
菜肉餛飩 Vegetable Pork Wonton
Mom's favorite.
紅油炒手 Hot Chili Sauce Wonton ($5.50)
Yummy spicy wontons.
三鮮水煎包 Mixed 3 Items Fried Stuffed Bun (8)
Leftover fried stuffed buns make great breakfast.
All that food with tons of leftover to take home was only $40! Love this restaurant!!
