For our Las Vegas trip, we didn't stay on the strip this time. We wanted to take Teddy & Twinkle. The Westin Lake Lake Las Vegas was perfect because not only it is a pet friendly hotel, it is right on the lake so lots of outdoor area to run around with the dogs. Also with my credit card's points, we got to stay for 2 nights for free!



When we checked in, the friendly staff gave us a "doggy bag". Inside the bag were bowls for food and water, mat, dog tag, and some yummy treats. They charge $25/room if you bring pets with you.




The bed was very comfy. Teddy and Twinkle thought so, too. They were right at home, thinking that was THEIR bed.



Beautiful lake view from our balcony. But do not open the balcony door at night time unless you want to be dinner for a million misquitos.



So beautiful and serene. It was a very different side of Las Vegas.



We all enjoyed our morning stroll along the lake.

When can we go back again?

We love our stay at Westin Lake Las Vegas. It was very calm and relaxed, very different from the craziness on the Strip. We like to stay near our hotel to do the "resort" thing during the day, then drive to Vegas Strip at night. Then come back for some quiet time. The drive to the Strip is about a good 30 minutes, which wasn't too far at all. We really enjoyed our stay, and Teddy & Twinkle did, too! :-)
