Yu's Garden is probably our favorite take-out restaurant in Orange County. It's cheap, food is good, service is friendly and fast. Pretty much every time we go up to Irvine for food, we'll stop by at Yu's Garden to bring something home.
3 Item Combo (Sauteed Spinach, Lion's Head, Stewed Beef)
For about $7, you get to pick 3 items to take home. Their Lion's Head has been one of our favorite dishes. The combo also comes with rice or sweet potato porridge.
3 Item Combo (Garlic Pork, Sauteed Vegetables with Soy Bean)
I love their spicy garlic pork.
Stewed Minced Pork with Pickle
The stewed minced pork with pickle is another favorite dish. I love to mix it with plain white rice.
Their boba milk tea is pretty good, too. It's $3 and buy one get one free. Probably the cheapest place in Irvine. Two bentos for $15 will feed the two of us for about 3 days. Good food and good value!

Altogether we had 7 meals between the 2 of us.
the price seems great, but can u have all meat in 3 item combo , likes 3 Item Combo (garlic pork, Lion’s Head, Stewed Beef) ??? LOL

I will need to eat here if and when I ever go down to Irvine again...or it is all right just to try the ones in the SGV?
ReplyDeleteSGV has lots of good 3 item combo places.
My favorite one is Oriental Express in San Gabriel.
But I haven't been there for a long time.
Don't know if it's still as good as before.
