越南咖哩麵是我很喜歡的一道菜色，來Banh Mi Che Cali買了小份的帶到公司當晚餐，只要$3而且雞肉給的無敵多，雖然有點油滋滋，但是真的好好吃啊！
Back to Banh Mi Che Cali. Lately this is my favorite take out place to get food to bring to work.
Curry Chicken Noodle (small) ($3.00)
Curry chicken noodle has been one of my favorite Vietnamese dish. I got a small order for to go. The soup was a bit oily, but that's just how Vietnamese curry chicken soup supposed to be like.
There were so much chicken in the soup. 4 big chunks to be exact. I can't believe the price is only $3!
Rice noodle came in another container. The noodle tend to stick together, but once in the soup, it wasn't sticky anymore.
One delicious and satisfying curry chicken noodle soup. All for the small price of $3! That price just seems so unreal.
I was just informed that their sandwiches are buy 2 get 1 free (thanks, Danny!). I haven't tried their Vietnamese sandwiches yet. But I definately will be trying some soon.

OMG! It's a bad idea to check out your blog nearing lunch time. Why can't Bahn Mi set up a west side location?? I am willing to pay $5 for this curry pho.

Hi Eileen, I recently came upon your blog and I love it! I live in the same area and have been to many of the restaurants you reviewed. I personally think Banh Mi Che Cali has better sandwiches than Lee's. The buy 2 get 1 free sandwiches are a little different than the regularly priced ones. They are a little bit more expensive, the bread is shorter, and has less filling. They also have yummy fresh sugar cane juice, and the banh cuong? (basically like chang fen)is really good too. I look forward to reading more of your delectable pictures and reviews!

But I will soon. I want to try all the items on their menu!
I HAVE to try this next time, as well as the Vietnamese coffee for $1.50.
ReplyDeleteJust to follow up on the sandwiches. I got 6 more the other day, very good as usual. For the buy 2 get 1 free, you have to pick the $2.25 sandwiches (I think #21+) The lady recommended #25 (BBQ Pork) and it's fantastic. #22 is good as well. Make sure you ask for the pickled vegetables on the side and also ask for cilantro as they did not give it to me the first time. $4.50+tax for 3 sandwiches, kinda hard to beat that. To me, it's a better and tastier option than Subway. :)
I'm preparing for my Vegas "food" trip.
So planning to eat salad for dinner next week.
After I come back, definately will go get some sandwiches!

We went tonight. $7 between the 2 of us. ;:) We had the shrimp roll and also the BBQ pork sandwich. The shrimp rolls were perfect for a hot summer night. We went to the Rosemead location, next to 888 seafood.

I think you and Dr. Park will really enjoy this place. It closes at 2-3AM too! My friends and I loved it when we head to our monthly Vegas trip :) Also, I love the Wynn buffet, it's top notch. Have a great time and good luck at the tables!
This place looks great.
But I already planned out our meals.
Maybe next time when we go to Vegas, we'll give this place a try.
