品酒之後,我們到Melrose街上買Pizza回家,等待Pizza的時候,去了旁邊的店家逛逛,鞋店裡賣好多色彩鮮豔的限量球鞋呢!
After wine tasting, we decided to go to this pizzeria to get takeout because Dr. Park and his brother wanted to go http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com to watch Ultimate Fighting Championship that night. After we ordered the pizza, we had a little time to kill before the pizza was ready. So we walked around Melrose Avenue for a bit.
Dr. Park's high school is right accross the street. He said he used to come to Sportie LA to look at sneakers after school all the time. Let's go in the store for old time's sake.
There's Dr. Park remembering high school moment. The store sells sneakers, lots of sneakers.
I like colors. Therefore, I like colorful sneakers. And this store has tons of colorful sneakers. So I think that equals to "I like the store"? (Man, that's some good reasoning skill right there!) This sparkly rainbow boot sneaker caught my attention right away.
Adidas neon color sneakers. I can wear it and go dancing.
Yellow portrait sneaker and red star sneaker. So flashy but fun.
Puma blue boot sneaker. So... NASA-ish for some reason.
Adidas Kermit the Frog bright green sneaker.
Reebok purple sneaker. So many colors.
Lime green + pink? I don't know. I think it's... ugly. But if you like attention, this is the sneaker for you.
Orange + yellow Nike sneaker. Now that's a better color combination. It's so lively.
Orance + yellow + green. I like this one, too.
And this one looked just like a regular black sneaker, but the colors are hidden on the sole. If I wear this sneaker, I would purposly kick my feet all the time to show off these colors.
So many colorful sneakers that I've never seen before. Are they limited edition sneakers?
I don't remember the name of the store. But this clothing store has vampires as their mannequins. It's a little scary if you pass by the window at night time, no?
We also went into the Ed Hardy store. Ed Hardy is a famous tatto artist. He developed his own fashion line featuring his work and has a lot of Hollywood celebrity supporters. I'm not sure if that's Ed Hardy standing behind the counter right there. But I did thought it was a real person when I walked by.
Dr. Park taking a picture with Ed Hardy (?) and is looking just as cool.
That concluded our fun 10 minutes Melrose Avenue tour.

i had been there before, their shoes are pretty unique but the price was also not very friendly...
ReplyDeletePeople in Irvine always asking me to get them some nice shoes out from down town LA, I usually just tell them to go to this store and find out by themselves.
I figure the shoes are expansive.
They all seem to be limited edition.
Man, UFC is the bomb, it is so much better than those phony WWE.
ReplyDeleteIt been such a long time since I last visit to Melrose. I think I have to revisit there again soon.
On a unrelated subject, are you and Dr. Park gonna go check out the new ferris wheel in Santa Monica soon? I think it will be a good dating experience.
Yeah, he said he would take me.
Hopefully soon. ^^
Wow..I really need to visit stores on Melrose~ It's now on my to-do list.
ReplyDeleteAnd eat around there too haha...
Remember to call me.
OMG~~~!!!dat's totally my store^^^^
ReplyDeleteespecailly now, when i completely fell in love with a vampire in the book Twilght>>.(it's a fantastic book, you should read it!!!)
too bad, all the shoe stores near my house are ordinary and boring,
they can't fulfill my "unique" sense of style for sneakers~~~(^^)
We have a copy of "Twilight" on our bookshelf!
I think my sister bought the book.
I'll read it soon.
