After disappointing hot pot dinner and before movie (Oh The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttonis such a wonderful movie!), we stopped by at Coldstone to serve my ice cream craving.
Even though it was a cold night, the line was almost out the door. They only had 2 people working. And those 2 people weren't that fast.
Lot of ice cream choices. But that blue cotton candy ice cream looked rather scary.
You pick the ice cream and mix-ins you want in your ice cream. Then they will mix and chop your creation on the "coldstone" for you.
Berry Yogurt + Kit Kat ($3.75)
I made something really.... strange. I picked berry yogurt and it was quite sour. I was going to pick blueberry as my mix-in then I saw Kit Kat. While waiting in line, I kept on thinking "Kit Kat or blueberry? Kit Kat Kit Kat or berry? Kit Kat Kit Kat Kit Kat or? What was that other choice again?" So Kit Kat won. But honestly, tangy berry yogurt and sweet Kit Kat didn't go together that well. It wasn't bad, just strange. So I probably won't make this mix again.
Strawberry + Strawberry + Waffle Bowl ($4.55)
Dr. P made a much better mix, strawberry ice cream with strawberry. It was so yummy. But the waffle bowl ruined it. The waffle bowl was soggy and disgusting. We told the worker about it. Her answer was "they are all like that". DO NOT order the soggy waffle bowl from this location ever again! I never had soggy waffle from other locations.
