I got my dad's birthday cake from Cake House in Koreatown.
Sweet Potato Cake ($32.00)
My parents love taro cake. When I saw Cake House has sweet potato cake, I thought maybe we'll try something similar but different?
Dad seemed happy with the cake.
The cake actually had very little "cake" part, but mostly mashed sweet potato filling. The cake wasn't overly sweet. The sweetness all came naturally from the sweet potato. Very delicious cake! Although it didn't look too pretty on a plate.

In Anaheim, we like Mas’ Islamic.
For Cantonese dim sum, you gotta go up to San Gabriel Valley. We love Lunasia.
For Japanese, Sushi Shibucho has delicious traditional sushi. (Will write about this place soon!)
