Mom's Chicken Noodle Soup

I ordered a 1/2 soup 1/2 salad combo. Chicken Noodle Soup was a little bit too salty for my taste. It tasted like... can soup. I like the clear chicken noodle soup from Souplantation better.

Chicken Carbonara ($7.79)
All-natural roasted chicken, spring peas and linguine pasta in our creamy carbonara sauce, with applewood smoked bacon and toasted bread crumbs.

Dr. P ordered Chicken Carbonara. I always get this one when I feel like having pasta at Corner Bakery. The chicken is very tender. The carbonara sauce was tasty. This was a heavy pasta so you get full pretty fast. Dr. P said he would like it better without the bread crumbs.

I had one hour lunch break from work. Glad there is a Corner Bakery Cafe right around the corner. I brought a book and enjoyed a quiet lunch by myself.

My sister bought cupcakes from Violet's Cakes for me the last time I went back home to visit. What a nice sister! :-)


Cinnamon Roll / Strawberry & Strawberry / Berry Delicious / Twix & Milk Chocolate ($2.75/each)

My sister picked 4 cupcakes that she thought I would like, and she did a great job! Cinnamon Roll was good, but the size was really small comparing to the other cupcakes. Why? Very strange. Strawberry/Strawberry was the only cupcake I did not like too much. The strawberry cupcake had an artificial flavor taste to me.  Berry Delicious was my favorite! It had blueberry jam inside the cupcake. Twix/Milk Chocolate was yummy, and Twix is my favorite chocolate candy bar. There was a big piece of Twix inside the cupcake. But this one was really sweet, and my teeth started hurting after eating a few bites.

Almost everyone in line ordered bagel sandwiches. But since I was already getting a dozen bagel, I felt like having something else. Hot panini sounded good. I was in the mood for some veggies that day and ordered Roasted Veggie Melt Hot Panini.

I went down to the dealership for car maintenance in Rancho Santa Margarita. I've never been to that city before, and wanted to explore the area a little after taking care of the car business. So I flipped through my Entertainment Book and picked a eatery around the area to go to. It's a fun way to see a new city because I get to drive around knowing there are food waiting for me at my destination.


BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad ($9.95)
Our 3-blend salad tossed with a Sweet and Spicy Ranch dressing, lemon garlic chicken, black beans, roasted corn, cilantro, tomato, topped with avocado and a zest of BBQ sauce.

Cinnamon Productions is one of those bakery cafes similar to Corner Bakery and Panera Bread. There is the bakery side with bread, cupcakes, and pastries. Then there's the cafe side that offers salad and sandwiches. My EB coupon was for buy 1 get 1 free. I decided to get one salad and one sandwich to bring home.

Your choice of a Cafe Sized Hearty Pasta with Caesar Salad or Mixed Greens

I've had their salad and sandwiches before.  This time I want to try something different, and ordered a pasta combo.  The combo came with garlic bread and Caesar or mixed greens salad.  The oily garlic bread was tasty, but it must have a lot of calories.  Romain lettuce in Caesar salad was really fresh and crisp.  Good salad.
