Take Your Pet for X-Ray Day

It was "take your pet for X-Ray day" in my radiology class. Some classmates brought very interesting / cute pets to class that day.

A girl had a giant tortoise for pet.  Tortoise is probably the only pet that would outlive its owner.  Maybe they think we are their pets in a way?  haha....

This girl's black lab puppy is so adorable.  She's very friendly and cute.  I can tell she's very loyal to her owner.

A girl who works in a hospital found this abandoned kitten at their door.  This kitten has a deformed back leg so he couldn't really walk well.  She's taking care of the kitten right now, but this kitten still needs a http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com.  I would take him without a doubt, only if Dr. P wasn't allergic to cat.  >_<  Just look at that face!  How come someone abandon a kitten that cute?

I thought this cat was a "he" because "he" is very handsome.  But "he" turns out to be a "she".  Very pretty cat.

Bunny:  What are you looking at?  Is it just my imagination, or is this bunny giving me a dirty look?  haha....

Ferret is illegal in California.  So this is not a ferret.  This is just a "very long mouse".  Look at that little hand!  So cute!!

Look!  There were two very long mice.  They are just too cute!

On a side note, my Japanese friend from school, Ema, gave me a Kit-Kat from Japan.  It's a green tea Kit-Kat!  It was so yummy.  Ema told me in Japan there are different limited edition Kit-Kat in different Japanese cities.  There is even a soy sauce flavor Kit-Kat!  I wanna try soy-sauce Kit-Kat!

There were also more dogs, more cats, and even two snakes that I didn't get to take pictures of.  I really enjoy my classes because I get to see and work with different animals. I love animals!

  1. Hi, I just thought I'd pop in, finally. I've been following your blog for a while up to the point where I was like "AWWW, Dr. P proposed to her" haha. Many of the places you review are actually near us so it's really fun reading your food posts and sometimes they encourage my boyfriend and me to go check them out.

I love animals too, so this post was full of cuteness! I laughed at the "long mice" :) I didn't know they were illegal in Cali, how long as this been in effect???

Oh and for one of the oldest pets that can outlive its owner, many cockatoos can live to be 80 years old or older! :)

Hi hi Kim! Thank you for leaving me your first comment. ^^
Do you and boyfriend also live near Irvine? We've been here for 10 months now.
But we're still exploring the area. If you know any good eateries, would you please share with me?
I don't know how long it has been that ferret is illegal to own in California.
I've heard the reason is they destroy crops, not to eat, but just for fun.
Even though it's illegal, there are so many people who have ferret in Cali.
Oh yeah! I totally forgot about them birds. I like cockatoos. Very smart and very cute!!
