My work's Christmas party was held at Shady Canyon Golf Club this year.
The banquet room wasn't that big, but it was cozy.

Our boss hired an amazing magician for the night. His name is Lou Serrano. He did magic up and personal before dinner. When he did magic at our table, he tore up a card and asked me to put my hand on top of the pieces on the table. He didn't even touch my hand. But when I let go of my hand, the card under my palm was a perfect card. How did he do that????

During dinner, the magician performed more magic. This one trick just blew everyone away. He asked one of our co-worker to think of any number inside her head. Then he just started writing numbers on this piece of paper. Our co-worker revealed that she was thinking of the number 52. The magician showed us that (1) the four squares in the four corners all add up to 52; (2) add the four squares across add up to 52; (3) add the four squares from top to bottom all equal to 52; (4) add the number from upper corner to lower opposite corner and they all equals to 52; (5) the four middle squares also add up to 52. OMG! How is that even possible???? Our co-worker swore she just thought of a very random number in her head.
Holiday Dessert Trio
Pumpkin and cheese cake pie, gingerbread cake with lemon sauce, chocolate decadence torte
We got not just one dessert, but three! All were great, but even I was too full to finish them all.
It was truly a "magical" night! Fun fun fun party!!
