We went back to Elephant Bar for their late night happy hour.
It was almost 10pm on a weekday, and there were still a lot of people at happy hour. The earlier happy hour customers were mostly older adults. The late night happy hour customers were mostly young people.
Seemed like they raised the price a bit. Before the happy hour dishes range from $3.00 to $6.00. Dr. P's favorite Ahi Tuna went from $6 to $7.50.
Buffalo Chicken Tender ($4.50)
Buffalo Chicken Tender was a new menu item. We had their chicken tender before and thought it was good. The meat was really tender. The buffalo version was the same tender and juicy chicken, but the buffalo sauce was just alright. I think I prefer the regular version though.
Wok-Fried Chicken & Lettuce Wrap ($5.50)
Wok-Fried Chicken & Lettuce Wrap is one of our favorite dishes from Elephant Bar. Ground chicken was wok-fried with lots of vegetables. Very tasty and healthy.
Quick-Seared Ahi Tuna with Ponzu ($7.50)
Quick-Seared Ahi Tuna is Dr. P's favorite. The tuna was cooked perfectly. I like the green seaweed a lot. Paring it with ahi tuna was such a good combination.
Happy hour at Elephant Bar was tasty, but it wasn't as a good deal as before. I guess their happy hour got really popular, so they raised the price?
