I was craving for Indian food big time for some reason.  Flipping through my coupon book, I found a coupon for Haveli Fine Indian Cuisine for $6.99 lunch buffet (original price $8.99/person).  We've been to Haveli a few times before, and really enjoy their food.

It was Saturday, but the restaurant wasn't busy at all.  We have never seen this restaurant with too many customers before.  It doesn't seem like they're doing too well.  But their food is really good.  I wonder why....

Lunch Buffet ($6.99/person)

It was the first time we came here for lunch buffet.  We always came for their dinner buffet before.  Dinner buffet is a bit more expensive ($10 with coupon, $13 without).  They have the same amount of dishes, but lunch had more veggie dishes, and dinner had more meat dishes.  But we LOVE veggie dishes, so lunch was good for us.  I love the creamy spinach, spicy cheese, and the curry chicken.  Tikka masala sauce was great, but I like the sauce more than the chicken.  One time we were there, and they had this spicy mushroom with spicy creamy curry sauce.  It was so good. But we only had it that one time, and haven't had the luck to have it again.  But I do like the fact that they keep on changing the buffet menu so we get to try different things every time we come here.

For my second plate, I got more curry chicken and spicy cheese.  Also grabbed a bowl of tomato soup, some vegetable fried rice, and a tandoori chicken.  Everything was delicious.

Garlic Nann

A basketful of garlic nann.  It smelt so good, and tasted even better.

I love Indian food, but not a fan for Indian dessert.  I just can't take their dessert.  Cheese ball, rice pudding thinging, and this orange carrot(?) mushy thing.... just not for me.  Really fresh and juicy cantaloupe, that I like.

That's it!  That's all I ate!  What's going on?  I've noticed I just can't eat as much as before, but I still gain weight?  So not fair!  I really like Haveli, and would recommend it to anyone who likes Indian buffet.

  1. 宇宙不變的定律: 越忙的餐廳 就越髒
    ...所以他們不忙就可以好好煮 而且一定比較乾淨

    這家餐廳感覺真的很乾淨
    服務也很好(因為人很少就我們幾個客人)哈哈

  2. I love Indian buffets! Your meal looks delicious. I agree about Indian desserts. I usually find them toothachingly sweet to the point where it's just unbearable. Even some of my Indian friends say that they don't like Indian desserts. I do like kheer (rice pudding) though.

The thing I couldn't stand is the cheese ball.
I don't like the taste nor the texture.
    But I LOVE Indian food!
