On my way driving http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com after class, I was craving for salad. Guess I had too much all you can eat Korean BBQ meat during lunch. I thought about stopping by Corner Bakery Cafe to get a salad and a cup of coffee. That would cost about $10. Then I remember I had Souplantation coupons at http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com. All you can eat salad for 2 plus 2 drinks would be about $15 with the coupon. So I called up Dr. P and asked him out for a salad date.
Salad
I got a big plate of salad. I read in a book that when eating vegetables, always go for "colors". So I tried to add all the vegetables with different colors. Green, red, white, yellow, orange, and black. I think I got all colors. Yum! Love the fresh veggies at Souplantation.
I also got a plate of prepared salad. Monterey Blue w/ Peanuts, Caesar Salad Asiago, Won Ton Chicken Happiness, Joan's Broccoli Madness and Provencal Green Bean & Potato. Everything was good. My all time favorite is the Joan's Broccoli Madness salad!
Pomegranate Iced Tea / Coffee
We had to buy 2 drinks to use the coupon. We always get 1 glass for cold drink, and 1 cup for hot drink. Souplantation had this drink called Mojito Green Tea before. It was soooooo good. I was really looking forward to drinking that iced tea. But they don't have it anymore! I was a little disappointed. So I tried their Pomegranate Iced Tea. And it turned out to be really good, too!
Golden Yam Bisque
We tried their two new soups. Golden Yam Bisque was super good. Love the naturally sweetness of the yam.
Potato, Tomato & Spinach Soup
Potato, Tomato & Spinach Soup tasted simple, and very good. I think I'll try cooking this potato + tomato + spinach combo at http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com next time.
Roasted Potato Focaccia
I think Souplantation is having a potato month or something like that. Roasted Potato Focaccia was garlicky and cheesy. Very tasty.
Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes with Bacon
Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes with Bacon was definitely cheesy. I like this dish better than their regular pasta offer.
Apple Cobbler
Hot Apple Cobbler for dessert! Yum yum yum! We also got some soft and chewy chocolate chips cookie.
Then we thought some ice cream would go really well with the hot apple cobbler. Yup! It sure did!
Souplantation is ALWAYS busy, and I can definitely see why. We really like Souplantation! So two all you can eat meal in one day. Now I am scared to step on the scale.

I was wondering how can you not add any ice cream on the cobbler and there you go, hot and cold dessert is the best that way LOL

Didn't see cookies available at Souplantation last time I went there in Irvine. Souplantation is having a potato month this month. I'm so behind! My last visit was when they had chicken pot pie stew available and I still haven't wrote about it yet.

Before any marathon, that can be marathon surf session, running marathon, biking marathon, or even shopping marathon with Eileen, I load up on carbs and the place to go to is Souplantation! :)

It was my favorite, haven't been there for ages though. I like clam chowder and vegetable harvest there.

I did this time, too. Just didn't take a picture. Their clam chowder is my all time favorite.
