It was a rainy night.  Dr. P drove through heavy rain and major traffic to Garden Grove after work because the day before I mentioned that I am craving for The Boiling Crab.  Awww.... That was too nice of him.

The Whole Sha-Bang Shrimp ($8.99/lb) / Corn on the Cob ($0.75/each)

Just like last time, we got a pound of The Whole Sha-Bang Shrimp with medium spicy.

The shrimp was big and meaty.  The spicy cajun garlic sauce was addicting.  The Corn on the Cob absorbed all that sauce, and it was sooooo good.

The Whole Sha-Bang Crawfish ($7.99/lb)

Dr. P also got a pound of The Whole Sha-Bang Crawfish.  Crawfish was hard to peel, and it didn't have as much meat as the shrimp.  Also I saw lots of long black dirty looking intestine after peeling the shell, and it just didn't look appetizing to me.  I also tried to suck on the head, and Crawfish brain didn' taste as good as shrimp brain.  Maybe I just don't know how to eat and enjoy crawfish properly.  But we both prefer the shrimp.  Probably won't get crawfish again.

Cajun Hot Wings ($4.99/6)

The Cajun Hot Wings weren't as big as the ones we got last time.  Still they were really tasty.

Sweet Potato Fries ($3.99)

Yum!  I love Sweet Potato Fries, and Boiling Crab did a fine job making those delicious fries.

Dr. P said even though it was raining, there were still tons of people waiting outside of the restaurant.  Even at the to-go store, he had to wait in line for 20 minutes.  People just love The Boiling Crab, and I can understand why.

  4. I LOVE crawfish, but then again, I grew up in the South and that was a staple of our block parties. I guess it's something you have to grow up eating to really enjoy.

It was so hard to peel and the reward was a little piece of meat.
Shrimp is easier to peel with more meat. haha.... guess I'm too lazy to enjoy crawfish.
