Shanling & Daniel's Wedding

My cousin Daniel finally got married with his girl, Shanling, after dating for 12 years!  Don't they look happy?  After a beautiful outdoor ceremony, we went inside the hotel for the reception.

We had appetizers and drinks before the reception.  The fruit punch was good.

Fruit was sweet.  I like the pineapple a lot.

A lady walked around with trays of toast with cream cheese to pass out to the guests.  There were a few different flavors: ham, smoked salmon, garlic, and blue cheese.

Fried wonton with chicken and cheese.

It was good, but oily.

Reception hall was opened, and we headed to our seats.  The table was full, really full.  Everyone had like  different glasses of drinks, and no room for anything else.

We started with a simple green salad and bread.  The citrus dresing was on the sweeter side.

For entree, I got salmon.  It came with rice, spinach, and red bell pepper.  The fish was moist and tender.  I think it was the best entree comparing to the other two choices.

Dr. P got steak.  It looked good, but didn't taste that good.  The steak was way overcooked.  It was more than well done, and very tough to eat.

My brother's girlfriend ordered chicken.  I had a bite.  The chicken was tender, and the stuffing was great.

Berry sherbet for dessert.  It was a little bit too sweet for our taste.

Beautiful wedding cake.

And we got to eat it.... only for a bite though... because it was just way too sweet.

Guess who was the lucky guy that got the garter belt?  haha..... Dr. P of course!

Congratulation to Daniel and Shanling!  We had a wonderful time at the wedding!  Hope you guys have lots of fun in Hawaii.  ^^
