NCL Mexican Riviera Cruise Day 2: French Wine Tasting

There were lots of activities to do on the day at sea.  Dr. P wanted to try the French Wine Tasting.  The cost was $15/person.  He participated, and I sat in.

5 different wines.  I had a sip of each and really liked the Louis Jadot Pouilly-Fuisse 2006 white burgundy.  Dr. P liked the Chateau Mont Redon Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2004.

The wine director on the cruise was the speaker of this event.  It was very informational and quite funny.

Complimentary cheeses were included in the wine tasting.  They also gave me a plate even though I didn't participate in the wine tasting.  All the cheese were great, except the blue cheese.  I do like blue cheese, but this one was just so strong.

Even though I wasn't particularly interested in wine, I found this presentation very interesting and fun.  Dr. P really liked this event and learned a lot about French wine.
