Dinner destination #2: Ugly Roll Sushi.  At first we were thinking about going to our favorite Hide Sushi.  But with my hunger level, it'll probably be a $100 dinner.  So the more budget concious choice would be the cheaper Ugly Roll Sushi.  We went all out and ordered way too much food.



I like how they packed the food.  Nice and neat, even taped down in a box. 



Miso Soup ($0.99)

Miso Soup  that day was not as good as the one we had last time.  This time it was a bit too watery.


Salmon Skin Salad ($3.95)

Salmon skin salad with light ponzu sauce was yummy.  Love the crispy skin with salmon meat on it.


Ugly Roll ($4.95)

Our favorite Ugly Roll.  Last time the roll was made with salmon and some kind of white fish.  This time it tasted like chopped yellowtail.  It was as good as we remembered it.


Spicy Tuna Roll ($4.95) / Philadelphia Roll ($2.95) / Eel Roll ($2.95)

3 different rolls on this plate: Spicy Tuna Roll (8), Philadelphia Roll (6) and Eel Roll (6).


Spicy Tuna Roll ($4.95)

Dr. P liked the spicy tuna roll a lot.  It had the right amount of spicyness.


Philadelphia Roll ($2.95)

Cream cheese and salmon, yum!


Eel Roll ($2.95)

Eel Roll was pretty good, too.  I just wish they had more of the sweet eel sauce.


Ugly Combo ($6.95)

Also got an Ugly Combo.  Told you I was hungry.  The tempura was alright.  They need to have better tempura dipping sauce.


Spicy Salmon Roll

Spicy Salmon Roll tasted kinda like Spicy Tuna Roll, but with salmon instead.


Cajin Roll

Had no idea what Cajin Roll supposed to be, but ordered it anyway.  It was tempura shrimp roll.  I think it was supposed to be spicy, but actually it wasn't.  We didn't like this one too much.  Probably won't order again.

All the food cost about $28.  Good bargain.  We were full, beyond full.  I like Ugly Roll Sushi.
