[Los Angeles] [Japanese] Kuishimbo Restaurant

Kuishimbo Restaurant
3407 W 6th St #101A
Los Angeles, CA 90020

Went back to Kuishimbo to grab dinner with some coworkers. We went on Sunday night and the restaurant was packed with people. The line to order was almost out the door. But last time I came here on a Sunday it was empty. Well, last time I came here there was a Hispanic man working behind the counter. This time there were two really cute Japanese girls working. I wonder if people were just there for these girls? haha....

Yakiniku & Chicken ($6.95)

This time I got yakiniku and chicken combo.  Coworkers told me the chicken they had before was a bit dry.  But I thought it was perfectly fine.  The BBQ beef was just as good as last time.  Super tender and flavorful.

Again, I like to have my Kuishimbo rice a certain way. (1) Chopped the meat into small pieces. (2) Pour the Kuishimbo sauce over meat and rice. (3) Dump the box of salad on top of rice. (4) Pour salad dressing over salad/rice/meat. (5) Add a packet of hot sauce. (6) Mix everything and enjoy. Yum! Just love it this way.

Portion was huge. This time I got medium and couldn't even finish half of it. I had the left over next day for 2 meals! Next time I want to try their BBQ ribs.
