We were at Petco all day long.  Gotta get some lunch, but we didn't want to go to far.  Lucci Gourmet is right next door to Petco.  We decided to just go there to grab a quick bite.

Lucci's is a small Italian market and bakery in the front, and has a little deli and tables at the back.

We didn't know they have been around since 1946.  That makes Lucci's 64 years old!

We grabbed our food for to-go, and came outside to eat at the patio area to keep an eye on the adoption event.

Tortellini Soup ($3.75)

We ordered a soup/sandwich combo.  The soup of the day was Tortellini Soup.  It was pretty good, and tasted like http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com-made.

California Sandwich (Half) ($4.25)
Avocado, turkey, sprouts, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, mayo & pickle.

We ordered the California Sandwich, but there were out of sprouts.  This was a very simple sandwich.  There was nothing special about it, but it tasted good.  Or maybe we were just really hungry?

I thought this deli was good, but nothing too special about it though.  But they were super busy.  I'm pretty sure they have some loyal followers if they can be in business for 64 years.
