[Aliso Viejo] [Deli] Aliso Creek Market & Deli

Dr. P and I went to Starbucks to get coffee.  When I saw Aliso Creek Market & Deli in the same plaza, I remember I had a coupon from them for $4.99 sandwich combo.  (I have a little coupon wallet that I carry with me all the time.  You never know when a coupon might come handy.  haha...)  We decided to pick up a sandwich for afternoon snack.

Roast Beef Sandwich Combo ($4.99)

You get to pick your bread, meat, vegetable, and condiments at the deli counter.  Cheese is extra $0.50.  I picked roast beef with everything in sourdough bread.  After placing the order, we browsed the liquor store for a bit while waiting for the lady making our sandwich.  I was surprised to see they have so many wines there.

It was a simple sandwich, but it tasted really really good.  They use Boar's Head meat.  The roast beef was fantastic.  All the vegetable was fresh.  We really enjoyed the sandwich.  The combo also came with a bag of chip and a drink.

Not bad for a liquor store deli.  I would definitely come back to get a sandwich.

  1. Hi Eileen! Still reading your blog faithfully (I think you helped turn me into a foodie haha), just haven't commented lately. I caught pneumonia a few weeks ago and still trying to recover fully. And my website's server has been down for weeks. What luck! But at least I still get to read your blog haha :D

Looks like a simple but yummy sandwich! I've heard of Boar's Head meat. It's supposed to be a whole lot better for you than those usual packaged deli meats.

Oh no! Pneumonia?!?! I'm glad you are ok now.
Please take good care of yourself and get better soon.
Make some chicken soup if you have time. *hug*
