[Shopping] The Body Shop

I had a $20 for $40 Groupon for The Body Shop that was about to expire.  After our lunch at Veggie Grill, sister and I went to The Body Shop to get some lotions.

Deep Sleep Peaceful Body Moisturizer ($22.00) / Divine Calm Body Butter ($16.00) / Midnight Bakula Body Butter ($16.00)

I tried the Deep Sleep Peaceful Body Moisturizer at my sister's place, and really liked the smell.  I think the lotion really helps me to have deeper and better sleep.  Divine Clam Body Butter has the same effect.  I usually read for a bit before I go to bed.  On the nights that I used either Deep Sleep or Divine Calm lotion, I always felt sleepy a lot sooner.  I got the Divine Calm lotion in the store for $16, but it's $20 on their website. Since the Groupon was for $40, I thought I would just get another lotion.  I like Midnight Bakula Body Butter's smell a lot.  The lotion also felt rich and creamy.

Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 ($20.00) / Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask ($18.50) / Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask ($16.50)

I used my sister's reward card to get 10% off when I paid.  Then we found out that there were enough points to get $25 free on that day.  My sister was so nice and said I can use the $25 to pick out something I like for my birthday.  I picked two masks.  Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask made my skin really soft.  It was a rich leave-on mask.  I like to use it before going to bed to leave the Vitamin E on overnight.  Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask made my face feel really clean and fresh.  When I took the two masks to the registry, the guy told us they had a sale for buy 2 get 1 free on skincare products that day.  So I had to get something else.  I picked out a Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 because I need a day cream with SPF.  This day moisturizer smells like vitamin C (that citrus smell).  I like it!

Brush Roll ($45.00)

When I went back to pay at the registry (again), the guy said that since I spent over $35, I get another free gift.  A $45 Brush set that came in a cute satin clutch with little sparkly bow!

Inside there were Brow & Lash Comb, Smudger, Lip/Concealer Brush, Eyeshadow Brush, and Blusher Brush.  Nice!

After applying the $40 Groupon,  the free $25, the free skincare, and the free brush set, I only paid $26.07 for everything!

Total savings, $93.25!!!!  Wow, it must be my lucky day!!!!

*big smile* :-)

  2. Body Shop has some really great products. I had the same Groupon cert too and used it during X'mas time and it was so nice that they allow X'mas deep discounts with the cert.

Sometimes restaurants/shops don't let you use other discount with Groupon.
But Body Shop let you use any discount with Groupon.
    It was pretty awesome!
