[Tustin] [Korean] Corea BBQ Restaurant

Corea BBQ Restaurant
14551 Red Hill Ave
Tustin, CA 92780
(714) 508-0024

A good thing about food court is that everyone can find something to their liking.  I wanted Korean Chinese, but Dr. P was more in the mood for some real Korean food.

Corea BBQ Restaurant has Korean BBQ, soon tofu, noodle, rice, and all those typical Korean dishes.  Price is very reasonable.

Soon Tofu + Bulgogi Combo ($8.95)

Dr. P got a Soon-Tofu + Bulgogi combo.  It was only $9, but the same meal would cost twice as much at BCD.  I had a bite of the beef and some soon-tofu.  Everything was really tasty.  Dr. P kept on telling me how good the food was.  And he finished everything!

Kimchi Fried Rice ($6.95)

Dr. P liked that food so much that he decided to order one more item for to-go to enjoy the next day.  He picked Kimchi rice.  I got to try a few bite.  It was very yummy.

We like Freshia market's food court.  Both Corea and Ching had very good business all night long.  But barely anyone went to the Korean Japanese restaurant.  Although they have a sashimi salad bowl that looks very appetizing.  I would love to go back to this food court to try more food next time.

  1. Did you finally make the move from Irvine? I notice you haven't reviewed an Irvine restaurant since early August...

We went to all those restaurants while still living in Irvine.
haha I'm soooooo behind on my reviews.
But yup, we moved. We are now in Aliso Viejo.

  3. You moved? Nooo, I loved your reviews in Irvine and places nearby haha. Come back very often ;)

Wow that is pretty cheap compared to BCD! I think it cost at least $10 for just the tofu soup right? I'm going to have to go here soon.

Aliso Viejo is not too far away. I just had a job interview at Irvine/Tusin.
I really hope I'll get the job (keep my fingers crossed....).
Plus Dr. P works in Irvine. So don't worry. I think we'll still be eating in Irvine a whole lot. ^_^
This place is soooooo much cheaper than BCD, and food is just as good if not better.
The only downside is that it's a food court so the decor doesn't look as nice as BCD.
But I rather pay for the food than the decor though. Hope you'll like it.
