[Tustin] [Fusion] Ching Chinese Express

For some reason, I was craving for Korean Jajangmyun.  A quick search online, I found out that the food court at Freshia Market in Tustin has jajangmyun.  Perfect!  We can do our grocery shopping and eat dinner at the same time.

The food court has 3 restaurants: Korean Chinese, Korean Japanese, and Korean Korean.  The Korean Chinese one is called Ching Chinese Express.  A lot people ordered jajangmyun from here.

Jajangmyun ($5.95)

A giant bowl of Jajangmyun (black bean paste noodle) for only $6.  Good deal!

It was a very good bowl of jajangmyun.  The sauce was tasty, and the noodle was chewy.  (As us Taiwanese would say, the noodle was very Q!)

Kimchi

Even the kimchi was great.  This was more of a Chinese style than Korean style kimchi.  The cabbage was crunchier, and the flavor was different than Korean style kimchi.  It was really good.

I could only eat 1/2 bowl of noodle.  The rest was my lunch for the next day.  So yummy, and super cheap, too!

Sure. English also came from Korea, right?

  3. I went there after reading your post and the jajangmyun was great. But for a cold weather the spicy seafood noodle was enough to warm you up. Also the phone number you have is wrong, its 714-838-8001.

This weather right now is perfect for the spicy seafood noodle soup!
Thanks for the correct phone number. :-)
