Every time there is a holiday, we BBQ.  This past Labor Day was no exception.

Guacamole

The first thing I made was guacamole.  I didn't really have plan to make guacamole.  I was looking through Dr. Park's fridge and found avocado, garlic, onion, green onion and lemon.  Actually I would prefer cilantro and lime.  But I could still use the ingredients to make guacamole.  Dr. Park helped me mashed the avocado and he also did the seasoning.  It was delicious!

Wines

Gotta have wines.  One red and one white to go with everything.

Peach Salad

Original plan was to make a simple green salad.  Then I saw peaches in the fridge.  Why not add some sweet peach to the salad?  I love fruit on my salad.

Sausages

Dr. Park's brother did the grilling in the backyard.  We bought the $4.99 special grill pack from Fresh and Easy.  4 Italian sausages.  Dr. Park's brother finished one right off the grill.

Guacamole Hamburger

4 hamburger patties in the grill pack.  We put some of the guacamole on top to make guacamole burgers.

BBQ Chicken

The chicken was a bit burnt, but only the skin part.  The meat was still tender and juicy.  Sasauges, hamburger, chicken for $4.99.  Too cheap!

BBQ Ribs with Blackberry Glaze

While the boys were grilling outside, I was busy making BBQ Ribs with Blackberry Glaze in the oven.  Personally I think it was good.  But Dr. Park didn't like it....  He thought it was too sweet.  But I like sweet!

So there.... that was our Labor Day BBQ.  Did you guys have BBQ for Labor Day, too?
