On Tuesday, Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot has $20 all you can eat special. Since Wednesday is a holiday, we decided to drive all the way up to Hacienda Heights for the AYCE deal. We got there around 7-ish. The hostess turned us away as there were already too many people on the waiting list. Oh well, so we decided to go to the nearby Flaming Spice for AYCE spicy hot pot.

We had to wait for about 15 minutes for a table. A sneaky Chinese lady actually tried to "cut us in line" on the signing waiting list. She put her name on a separate sheet of paper, then put that piece of paper on top of the original waiting list where everyone had their names on it. Dr. P saw the whole thing and called her out for it. She just kept on saying to us "don't worry, you go first you go first." Ahhhh.... rude!

All You Can Eat ($19.99/person)

For the soup base, we got the spicy chicken and non-spicy oxtail soup.

They have a pretty good appetizer bar. Some of my favorites are spicy dan dan noodle, lamb dumplings, scallion pancakes, seaweed, and beef & tendon.

Waitress would push either a veggie cart or meat/seafood cart next to the table. You can ask for anything you like from the cart. Here were some of the veggies we ordered.

And lots of meat. I think I ate 4 plates of my favorite intestine. Very satisfied.

And there's my nerdy husband wearing googles while eating hot pot so hot soup won't get into his eyes.

They didn't have this before. But now they have a slushing ice station for dessert. Maybe it's a special summer treat?

I got a mango slushing ice with condense milk. Yum!

We ate so much, and I left the restaurant with a big potbelly. Delicious!

Must've been a Mainlander hahaa. They tried to pull that sh*t on my folks when they visited the Shanghai Expo a few summers ago.

    Yup, Mainlander.
When Dr. P confronted her, she was all yelling at him.
