[Costa Rica Honeymoon] [Day 6] Restaurant Anaconda

Restaurant Anaconda
Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
(506) 2777-0584

Breakfast was included with our stay at Hotel Costa Verde.  We headed over to Restaurant Anaconda at 7 in the morning.

The sun in Costa Rica goes down early, but it also rises early.

Ocean view dining room, very nice!

Breakfast menu here wasn't too interesting though.  Most were just typical American style breakfast, or cereal, yogurt, and fruit sorta of things.

Corn Flakes - con Leche y Banano

Dr. P ordered the very boring cereal with banana.  The banana was all bruised and didn't look very appetizing.

Huevos a la Mejicana
Huevos revueltos con tomate y chile, tortilla o testadas.

I ordered the only somewhat non-American breakfast on the menu, Mexican style scrambled egg.  It was made with a spicy salsa very similar to the one we had at our first hotel.  The salsa was VERY spicy.

Tostadas

My spicy egg came with some not so exciting toasts.  Hmmm...

So the view was nice, but food wasn't too good.  Oh well....

  3. Hi, Eileen,
How have u been? You have not updated ur blog for more than 3 weeks. It is really rare. (I have been browsing ur blog for more than 3 years). I don’t mean rude or push. I just want to know what make u stop writing. And, are you going to post new blogs any time soon? I really enjoy reading ur blogs. Ur honeymoon has yet finished. I wish u could keep writing.
Good luck on ur new job!

    Best wishes,

Hey hiyou! Thank you sooooo much for your comment.
It brought a big smile to my face! :-)
In fact, I was just planning to start writing again today!
I got a new job at an animal hospital. I worked 10 hours a day for 4 days a week.
So on those days I rarely have time to go online.
Then the 3 days I have off are usually 1 day going to LA to visit family,
1 day errand, and 1 day of doing absolutely nothing and being lazy.
I've been meaning to write, but I just feel so tired everyday.
I think I was trying to adjust to my new schedule of waking up at 5am everyday.
But now it's been almost a month, and I think I'm getting used to the new schedule.
I am going to write later today. My goal for today... finish the honeymoon!
Thanks again for your kind words. *big hug*
