Our day 2 (supposed to be day 3 of the tour though) started on tour at Selvatura Park.

Tour description:
Selvatura Park Hanging Bridges, Outstanding Structures that Take You Into New Heights! Selvatura's Treetop Walkways is a 1.9 mile (approximately 3 kilometer) trail that crosses through the cloud forest, in which our visitors will walk through eight different bridges from various lengths ranging between 150 feet (50 meters) up to 510 feet (170 meters) and altitudes ranging between 36 feet (12 meters) up to 180 feet (60 meters). Each of the bridges feature a five foot width, the widest ones in the country, and also a capacity of up to 80 people per bridge making them both the longest and strongest bridge system in Costa Rica. The treetop walkways are suitable for people of all ages and physical condition.

First stop at Salvatura Park, the Hummingbird Garden.

There must be like a hundred hummingbirds flying around in that garden.  They were not afraid of people at all.  In fact, we should be more afraid of them flying into our heads.  It was the first time I was able to see hummingbirds so up close.

Time to go on our hanging bridges tour.

One of the many many hanging bridges.

This tree has very large and strange looking pods.  I wonder if you can eat those.

This little bug must be really hungry.

Little red flower looked pretty from far away, but the center looked kinda of gross up close.  It looked like.... maggots in the center of the flower.  Yuck!

Giant fern tree.  (I really like this picture!)

Our tour guide told us that the cloud forest was supposed to be foggy (or cloudy).  But we were unlucky that the day was really clear.  And I thought we were lucky to be there on a clear day.  I was so wrong.  haha...

Pretty purple flowers.

We saw a caterpillar in the middle of the road, and moved him to the side so nobody would step on him.  Scary looking little fellow.

Do you think Tarzen live here?

View from one of the bridges.

Hey, that was a pretty good self-shot photo.  We got the whole bridge in the background.

View from under the bridge.  I hope nobody come here in skirt.

Poor butterfly with broken wing.  She couldn't fly anymore.  So sad....

Found a beetle hiding under the leaf.  There were so many insects here.  Too bad I wasn't exactly an insect fan.  I want some mammals, please!  Where were the monkeys?

There is the monkey!  On 15 different bridges!!

This walk was pretty relaxing.  We were a little disappointed that we didn't see birds and monkeys, but we did saw a lot a lot a lot a lot of bugs.  Yipee~~~~
