After late lunch/early dinner at Newport Seafood, we went to get boba milk tea. We walked by Lunasia, and saw people eating dim sum for dinner. So crazy us went for dinner #2.



They weren't too busy for dinner.

It was my mom's birthday, and she felt like having dim sum. We decided to try the newly opened Capital Seafood in Arcadia. We haven't been there before, but my brother has and liked it. We were there on a weekday around lunch time. The restaurant was almost full. They also offers lunch special with the typical Chinese dishes, but almost everyone was having dim sum. The restaurant has nice decoration and looks fancier than your regular Chinese restaurant. There is no dim sum cart. Everything has to be ordered from the menu. The price is slightly higher comparing to most dim sum restaurants in San Gabriel Valley.


蝦子燒賣皇 Pork Siu Mai (4) ($3.38)

Pork Siu Mai had a mixture of shrimp and pork as filling. It tasted very ordinary.

I spent the night at my parents' house. The next morning I felt like having dim sum, but was too lazy to go out to a restaurant. So mom and I went to Ocean Bo Dim Sum Cafe to get some take out dim sum for breakfast.



All the dim sum were in the dim sum counter. You can order off their menu, or just look at the food and tell the counter girl what you want. Some of the items had probably been sitting there for a long time though because some of the stuff we got were already cold.

這天早上爸爸出門去買報紙，順便帶了海寶的點心回來當午餐，海寶的東西以前我覺得很便宜，但是有了石頭記的出現之後，海寶好像感覺也沒有那麼便宜了，不過畢竟還是離家近比較方便啦！


甫魚蝦燒賣 Pork Siu Mai (US$1.70)

吃港式點心要是沒有吃燒賣，真的就感覺好像沒吃一樣，海寶的豬肉燒賣上面還有鑲一顆小蝦仁，蠻好吃的。

今天很想來把之前的食記一次寫完，這樣以後就可以寫當天的或是前一晩的，要不然覺得每天好像都在寫回憶錄喔！不好意思要大家一次看這麼多篇啦！哈哈！

昨天晚上弟弟跟他女友去家裡附近的海寶點心買了晚餐回來，海寶除了有賣港式飲茶的點心以外，也有賣一般港式西餐會賣的那些菜色，不過因為是弟弟買的，所以價錢不詳，一份大概也都是US$6.00左右吧！


菠蘿蝦球炒飯 Shrimp with Pineapple Fried Rice

沒有什麼味道的菠蘿蝦球炒飯，蝦球不少，大顆又脆脆的很好吃，菠蘿也蠻多的，炒飯也炒的粒粒分明，也不會太油，其實真的可以是個不錯的炒飯，但是就是一點味道都沒有，是不是忘了加鹽啊？

這家海寶點心在我爸媽家附近，以前只是一家很小很小的外賣店，生意非常好，因為東西好吃又便宜，大概一年前他們擴大營業，在同一個購物廣場頂下了另一家生意不是很好的餐廳，現在店比以前大了十倍吧！而且還開始賣港式西餐的料理，生意一樣是好的不得了。這天我回爸媽家，回家前想到了這家餐廳，就去買了外賣回家慢慢吃。


點心 Assorted Dim Sum (US$6.80)

這一大盒裡裝滿了我愛吃的點心，右上角的是筍尖鮮蝦餃(Shrimp Har Gow)，右下角是甫魚蝦燒賣(Pork Siu Mai)，左下角是干蒸牛肉賣(Beef Siu Mai)，左上角是香茜魚翅餃(Shark's Fin Dumplings)，每一份都是US$1.70，光看名字大家都知道是什麼了吧？所以我也不用多做解釋，每一道都很好吃喔！

NBC海運海鮮酒家是我最喜歡的飲茶餐廳，從早上七點到下午三點餐廳供應飲茶，晚上則是港式海鮮，這家餐廳很大，雖然大，但是還是每次來都要排隊，這家飲茶是真的好吃，所以每次排隊也值得。


甫魚燒賣仔 Pork Sil Myl (US$1.90)

燒賣又大又飽滿，裡面有豬肉跟蝦子，沾上一點辣椒，真是好吃。

在今年初的LA Magazine洛杉磯雜誌中，介紹了洛杉磯最棒的25家餐廳，御珍樓Mission 261就是名列其中的一家，查了資料後，發現這家餐廳可是上遍各大小雜誌呢！既然離我家又蠻近的，決定去試試看。

星期六的早上我跟妹妹一起去飲茶，這家餐廳從外面看起來超大的，進了大門後，我們被帶位到右側的某一個廳，我估計這餐廳應該有個十來個廳吧！光是這個廳就有個五十來桌吧！而且是幾乎客滿喔！看來生意真的是很好。

服務生問了我們要喝什麼茶後，就上了菜單，這裏的點心是用點的，而不是有車子推來那種，我個人是比較偏好有車子那種啦！因為可以看到食物，我們在點單上勾選完要的東西後，點心就一一上桌了。


山竹牛肉球 Steamed Minced Beef Balls (US$1.98)

來介紹那天我們吃的東西吧！先從鹹點開始說。第一道是山竹牛肉球，牛肉球蒸的很嫩，裡面有咬起來脆脆的東西，我想是荸耆吧！味道算是很不錯！這是最便宜的一道。
