We were feeling lazy.  Pizza Hut's $10 delivery pizza seemed like a perfect solution.  We tried to place our order online, but somehow it didn't work for the $10 any pizza special.  So we called in to order.

Super Supreme Pizza / Chicken Supreme Pizza ($10.00)

This time we ordered a large pizza with 1/2 Super Supreme and 1/2 Chicken Supreme plus pineapple and jalapeno on the entire pizza.  We both like the chicken supreme better.  It was lightter, and the chicken and pineapple went really well together.  They did a great job on the crust that day.  It was soft and fluffy.

Tuscani Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta ($7.99)

Dr. P wanted to order hot wings, but I saw that pasta also costs about the same price, but seemed to be a much better value.  After I mentioned it to Dr. P how I had the Chicken Alfredo Pasta before and thought it was good, he was also interested in trying.  So we got a 1/2 order pasta plus 5 breadsticks combo for 2 for $7.99.  The pasta was good.  Dr. P liked it a lot.  I thought it tasted even better the next day as leftover as all the pasta soaked in the sauce overnight and had more taste.

Breadsticks

The breadsticks was good as well.  When it was fresh the first day, it was soft and tasty.  The next day I heated up the bread in microwave.  Bad choice!  The breadsticks turned to stone hard.  I had to throw the rest of them away.  I guess it was best eaten when it was fresh and warm.

I like Pizza Hut now.  I am really glad that the food is reasonable priced now.  Hopefully their competitors will do the same, and us consumers will benefit from it.  ^^

  1. Next time try heating the bread in the toaster oven. I find the microwave makes bread either too chewy or hard.

If I have a toaster oven, I would definitely heat bread with it.
    But I don't have one.... >_<

  2. Use the regular oven. 350F for 5 to 10 min.
Sometimes it's okay to reheat some breads like pita breads in the microwave but only with a damp clean cloth or paper towel on top for 10 seconds on high.

I just feel it's such a waste of energy to turn on the big oven just to heat up a little breadstick, you know...

  3. But it would end up cheaper, I think, than throwing food away...

    That's true...

  4. wrap the bread in a wet paper towel and then put it in the microwave. it won't turn hard.

That's what my mom told me, too.
    I'll try that next time.

  6. hi, i just started to follow your blog a week ago. i've enjoyed it a lot :) because of this post, i ordered the same stuff at pizza hut yesterday (tuesday)...weeee...but instead of a supreme pizza ($10.00), i got a 1 topping pizza (black olives, i don't like meat on pizzas, i'm weird!) for $6.99. hope all is well with you! cheers!

1 topping pizza for $6.99? I didn't even know about that deal!

  7. The crust does look fantastic. Or maybe because it's not "pan pizza"? It doesn't look like the oily Pizza Hut pan pizza. Or maybe my eyes are tricking me.
Maybe if you try microwaving for shorter amount of time, like 10-20 seconds then the breadsticks will be soft and warm. It works like that for my microwave at least. They usually get hard after microwaving too long.

    It was "hand-tossed" crust.
It was soft, fluffy, and not oily at all.
I normally don't eat crust, but this time I thought it was really good and finished it all.
