I like the Tasty Bite Punjab Eggplant I tried last week. So this week I bought another Tasty Bite's quick Indian meal to try.
I picked Peas Paneer. "Green peas & paneer cheese in a spicy tomato sauce" was the description. I always like paneer cheese. It tastes like firm tofu. Spicy tomato sauce sounds good with rice.
The paneer cheese was good. The sauce wasn't spicy at all. It wasn't as flavor as the eggplant dish that I got last time. The sauce was a bit watery. Overall, I thought the eggplant was better.
I like the convenience of those quick microwave meals. But food still tastes much better when it is prepared fresh. I really like Indian food, and would love to learn how to cook a few dishes. Time to do some recipe research!

yes paneer cheese it is, that's the cheese-tofu I was talking about, hehe.
ReplyDeleteIndian vegeterian is probably the best vegeterian cuisine, never bland with the extensive spices they use, unlike Chinese vegeterian that just put a lot of oil in various forms of soy products (some are good, but I don't dig the names like veg. pork or veg. chicken, it sounds like they're reluctant to be vegeterian lol)
I agree! I can eat Indian vegetarian EVERYDAY! ^_^
Hi Eileen, I saw this deal and thought you'd be interested in it! I've tried a couple of these before and they're quite good... definitely make your entire apartment smell like Indian food!
