[Irvine] [Korean] Sobahn Express Korean Cuisine

We went to H-Mart to shop for a math department BBQ for Dr. P's work.  Marinate kalbi is the best for any BBQ!  Before food shopping, we grabbed a quick lunch at Sobahn Express inside the food court at H-Mart.

Bulgogi Bibimbap ($6.99)

It was a hot day so Dr. P didn't want to get the hot stone pot rice.  Instead he just got a regular Bulgogi Bibimbap that came in a to-go paper box.  The rice was hot, and everything else was cold.  Mixing everything together, you get a warm bibimbap.  I like everything in it.  Lots of fresh vegetable.  Meat was cooked pretty good as well.  One order is enough for both of us to get full.

There!  He's doing it again!  Whenever Dr. P holds a spoon, his little finger automatically does this.... Why why why?  haha....

  1. We stopped by at that plaza on our way back from San Diego last Fri and shopped at the market afterwards.

Do you like H-Mart? I love it!
Their veggies, fruit, and meat are always fresh and cheap.

  2. even we have a HMart in Cerrios, but it's too small compare to Irvine, sometimes I still like to go to Hmart in Irvine, stuff really cheap and got tons of fruit there too!

I love Irvine's H-Mart! I can buy a week worth of fruit and veggies for $10.

  4. In fact my kids want to go to Kula sushi every weekend. I think they like the rotating bell more than anything else.

haha I think kids will find the rotating belt really fun to watch.
    Do your kids eat sashimi?

  5. Lol, you know my boyfriend does the same thing. ESPECIALLY when he is typing on the computer. It bugged me so much that every time he did it I would tap his pinky. haha. Now he consciously tries not to do it all the time :P

He doesn't use his pinkys to type? haha... that's so funny.

  6. I wonder why they serve it in a box that looks like the kind that donut shops use? I can maybe understand if it was to-go, but for dining there it seems so weird to eat out of a box!

They only have hot stone pot at the food court.
Since we request to have it not in a hot stone pot, they only have the paper box available.
