I bought a $10 for $20 voucher for Milo's Cafe on one of those Groupon similar websites. (There are so many of those sites right now that it's kinda hard to keep track!) I bought the voucher as soon as I saw it because it is a dog friendly cafe. They even have a dog menu! It sounded great, but people on Yelp doesn't seem to like this place too much. Most of the reviews complained about their slow service. Then I saw them on Groupon yesterday (the deal is still going on right now), and thought if service is already slow, we better go before the Groupon crowds hit this place.



Our navigation system had a little trouble finding this place. It if located inside the same plaza as Home Depot and 24 Hour Fitness if you can't find it. If you bring dog(s) with you, you have to go all the way around to the back and enter through the patio.




The outside patio has two play pans for dogs to play with each other. There were beds, toys and water inside.



When we got there, there were 3 girly pugs there. They are Fern, Fawn, and Fanny. All of them are so friendly and cute. Teddy, Twinkle, and the 3 pugs became fast friends. Teddy was such a lady's boy. He had fun chasing, kissing, and playing with all the girls.



A lot more dogs showed up a little later. A family brought 3 small dogs and 1 giant Great Dane. Another family brought a Golden Retriever and 2 Boston Terrier. There was also a old old old Bulldog, one big beautiful black Poodle, and a little cute chihuahua that became friends with Teddy. Teddy and Twinkle had so much fun meeting new friends. But Twinkle was very scared of the big Great Dane even though he was friendly. Maybe because he was 40 times bigger than Twinkle. haha....



The dog menu was what we came for. Unfortunately they didn't have anything available. Hmmm.... Instead they offered beef, turkey, or veggie patty. I guess we'll just have to get some patties for Teddy and Twinkle then.



Service was a bit slow. But that's ok. We had fun playing with the dogs while waiting for our food to arrive. I caught a picture of Dr. P cuddling with Teddy. So cute!


Milo's Signature Turkey Burger ($8.95)
Turkey burger accompanied with vegan cheese, sprouts & hummus

After a long wait, our food finally arrived. Dr. P ordered Milo's Signature Turkey Burger with a side of quinoa. Milo's food is all pretty health conscious. The turkey burger tasted clean and healthy. I like the lean meat and the sprouts in the burger. The quinoa also was pretty good.


Jack's Club Sandwich ($8.95)
Turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato & sprouts with Milo's light aioli. Served upon whole wheat bread

I had Jack's Club Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. I like what was inside the sandwich, but didn't like the mushy bread and the sour aioli. I think it would tasted better if they toast the bread, and not to make the aioli sour. Sweet potatoes fries was really good.


Turkey Patty ($4.00) / Beef Patty ($4.00)

Since the dog menu items are all $2.95, I thought the patties they offered would be the same price. But when we got the bill, I found out the patties were $4 each. A little pricey, yeah? The turkey patty was healthier and leaner. The beef patty seemed a bit oily, but I don't think they added oil. It was from the beef patty itself.



I chopped the patties into small pieces for Teddy and Twinkle. They LOVED it! They ate everything, including all the lettuce!



Milo's Cafe is a fun place for dogs to hang out, eat and play. I think their food is just ok. Service is on the slower side, but the one waiter and waitress we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. We like Milo's Cafe not because of their food, but because of Teddy and Twinkle had a great time there. All the people there with dogs were nice and friendly. Everybody was chatting with each other about dogs. If you are a dog lover, definitely take your pooch to try this place. I would take Teddy and Twinkle back again. But next time maybe we'll just order a drink.
